Amazin’ is a deceptively simple project looking at elevating how Amazon displays the books they sell. It’s always literally amazed me just how they are presented. Books aren’t their main focus since they’ve grown so much and pretty much sell everything, so the presentation is more suitable for the widget you want to buy more than the book.

For the last 10 years or so I’ve been working on a children’s book project, and combined with buying books for my daughter, have amassed a vast collection which I wanted to talk about - I wanted to use web technologies, but give an app feel, and if a commission was earned along the way it might help run the project too.

That being said, not everyone wants to buy from Amazon, so where available I’ve used bookshop.org links too for UK residents.
